Itinerary
We will depart Calgary and Edmonton by chartered jet at approximately 6:15 AM to maximize our polar bear viewing time in Churchill. The flying time to Churchill is approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes. We will depart Saskatoon at 8:00 AM. The flight time to Churchill from Saskatoon is about 1 hour and 40 minutes.
En route to Churchill, you will be served an in-flight breakfast while listening to a naturalist speaker entertain you with fascinating facts about the polar bears. Once we have descended upon Churchill, our group will board buses and head directly for the Tundra Buggies for a 5 - 6 hour guided excursion. Lunch will be served onboard the Tundra Buggies.
After a day on the tundra, you will be bussed to Churchill, where you will have some free time to shop at the gift stores. Supper will be served on the aircraft or at the Churchill community centre.
We will then board our aircraft and dim the lights for a relaxing flight home. Our flight will arrive back to Calgary or Edmonton at approximately 10:30 PM, and our flight back to Saskatoon will arrive at approximately 8:30 PM.
